I wanted to challenge myself here and use more realism than I usually do when drawing.
I started with really rough sketches to help decide how I wanted to pose the dinosaur and to help me balance out the proportions.
I found 3 poses that I liked, trying to make them all feel different.
I added a clean outline,
added a base gray,
chose my light source and added shadows,
highlights,
played around with color until I found something I was happy with.
And lastly, I colored all three dinosaurs and added a few last mintue touches.
