I wanted to create a welcome kit for Fender as if you were signing up for a membership, or just ordered one of their guitars. I wanted to include a magazine, a small booklet, a few stikers, a few guitar pics, a guitar strap, and a box to be mailed in.
The first thing I did, was went onto Fenders instagram, and found some photos of their bass guitars being played, and then went to their website and found closeup photos of different guitars. I also had a photo of someone I know playing bass that I thought worked perfecly for a cover photo.
I designed the booklet to match the vibe of their jazz basses, using bright colors and funky fonts to match the jazzy vibe. And after looking closer at the designs, I felt like the cover and inside didn't have the same mood or style. I decided I wanted to go more of a grungy route, like the vibe of the cover.
